- The National Restaurant Award WHERETOEAT (WTE), an annual rating of the best restaurants in Moscow and St. Petersburg, was established in 2013 by the Association of Russian Gourmet Journalists.
- The organizers took the most prestigious world restaurant ratings and awards as a guide.
- The final rating is formed annually according to the results of the secret ballot of a wide panel of experts — professionals in the restaurant, hotel and wine business, as well as the most authoritative representatives of the specialized media and PR specialists.
- The winners are awarded in several nominations: “Chef of the Year”, “Sommelier of the Year”, “Special Prize of the Concierge Association Les Clefs d’Or”, “Special Media Prize”, “Restaurant Critic of the Year”.
The first and exclusive restaurant award of such a format in the Russian capital featuring both professional and social events.

WHERETOEAT St. Petersburg
The most important restaurant award of the Northern Capital of Russia, an annual No. 1 event for the professional community.
The main rating includes 50 most popular St. Petersburg establishments according to the results of the current year. The top spot in 2017 is held by “Tartarbar”.

In autumn 2018 the National Restaurant Award WHERETOEAT will be held for the first time in Sochi, the most popular city in the Krasnodar Region. The restaurant culture of the region has been developing rapidly over recent years and this fact could not go unnoticed.
The order and voting rules for determining the best restaurants in Sochi, Krasnodar, Novorossiysk, Rostov-on-Don and other cities in Southern Russia remain constant. The best establishments will be selected by secret ballot of the panel of experts including the leading restaurateurs, chefs, sommeliers, respected food critics, PR specialists and the most authoritative gourmets among secular people.
Based on the voting results a rating of the city’s top 50 restaurants will be compiled and the winners in special nominations will be determined: “Chef of the Year”, “Sommelier of the Year”, “Restaurant Critic of the Year” and others.
